Does Anyone Get Burning In Their Arms And Hands At Night?
A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭

Tonight I have been trying to sleep but keep getting burning sensations in my arms and hands and electric shock sensations in my legs.

It's making it hard to sleep. I'm also itchy. What can I try for relief?

wow you've got it bad baby, you need iron level in blood done, then try taking some Magnesium if you can, & also get assessed for Carpel Tunnel syndrome causing hands arms, if none of those try gabapentin &
PEA Palmitoylethanolamide

I have been prescribed an anxiety drug to help calm my mind for sleep, antihistamines help with the itching but i can't suggest anything for the spasms as I am yet to find a solution myself. :-)

Yes I get the burning in my arms its like im on fire but im cool to the touch. I agree with Margi its probably restless leg syndrome. I have that as well and it makes it impossible to sleep. I havent found anything that works for the itching yet. Let us know if you find something. My thoughts are with you.

You might be going through restless leg syndrome many people have it because it can be a symptom of Fibromyalgia, you may need to ask your Doctor for something to help you sleep at night, my Doctor gives me Endep it is Amitriptyline.

Far as the itching you could try calamine lotion, or try taking an antihistamine tablet once a day.
Taking a bath in oatmeal helps as well, you can put some oatmeal in a muslin cloth and put it on the tap or in your bath water.

Hope you find something that works for You.
