Does Anyone Else Get Really Bad Muscle Cramps/pulled Muscles
A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭

Im not sure what it is but I get what feels like pulled muscles from minor activities. I pulled 2 muscles which then cramped up swimming lightly. I pulled 2 muscles from literally sitting in a chair. I dont have to be doing anything. Its frustrating and painful and something very new for me.

Does this happen to anyone else? Is it the lyrica?

I get spasms all over frequently but most often in my hands if I'm cooking or baking and holding a kitchen utensil for longer than a few seconds. It's pretty painful and the spasm contorts my hand badly, increasing the pain. When I get a spasm in my back I have trouble catching my breath. My doctor put me on Baclofen; 10 MG 3 times daily. I don't follow the prescription and only use one when/if I go into spasm. When I take the Bacoflen the spasms ease off right away. You might talk to your doctor about getting a prescription and seeing if it works for you. Namaste ..

I absolutely understand what you are saying! I have to move so carefully to sit down because if I don't, I could pull a muscle dot. Or it feels like I have done so. It is getting to the point I am afraid to move at times. I'm sorry you are suffering from this as well because I know firsthand how frustrating, exhausting, and emotional it can make you.
