Members responded to the question about memory and recall issues by widely confirming that brain fog and forgetfulness are very common, especially for those managing fibromyalgia. Several members shared how memory struggles affect their daily lives and work, including teachers who described embarrassing moments with colleagues and difficulty leading meetings. A recurring theme was finding ways to cope, such as writing things down, using phone calendars, and accepting that fibro fog is something many learn to live with over time.

Unfortunately it’s part of fibro fog. I hate it, but you learn to live with it.

Yes, I have terrible memory problems! Sometimes I can't find the right noun for what I want to say. I am a 3rd grade teacher and this makes teaching very difficult sometimes. Not so much with the kids, as they are loving and forgiving, but I've had some embarrassing moments with colleagues. I don't like heading up committees anymore, because I forget things so easily. It's depressing.
