For a month i have had a pain in the top of my big toe, its sharp like a metal band has been tightened. Is it likely to be fibro related?

Hi Helen. I don't think we can ever exclude Fibro as the cause but another common cause of pain in the big toe is Gout. Ignore myths that Gout only affects older folk. I first had Gout episode when I was in my mid 20's. Likewise with onset of arthritis. Worth checking with your GP as there are medications available to treat gout.
Best wishes.
