Spasm
A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭

Hi all,

I’ve been dealing with back spasms like crazy the past few days and it’s been so uncomfortable. Back lower ribs will feel like they are being squeezed in a vice and spasm will sometime work it’s way up my body. My back lower area..flank and ribs mainly go into spasm or cause me a lot of pain when I’m lying down. Also issues with knots all in the side of my left neck and shoulders. Anyone relate?

My fibromyalgia is mainly in my shoulder areas. My neurologist recommends physical therapist to help with knots, spams, tightness, and headaches. She has also recommended magnesium supplement. I can say that I have felt an 80% improvement. prayers you find relief. Take care.

Yep and I take ibuprophin (up to 800 mg) every 4 hours when I have it--as suggested by my dr. Seems to help if you can tolerate the med
