Lower Back Rib Pain

A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭

Hi all, lower back rib pain on my left and right side. Feels like someone is squeezing or pulling the bone. So uncomfortable. Anyone get this sensation?

I have the same thing. I also have Costochondritis but not sure if that’s what is causing mine. I’ve had a CT with contrast of the abdomen and it came back with a tiny fat attenuation on my liver and they said that would not be causing my pain. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Definitely sounds like it might be costochondritis because it affects the back ribcage and can affect your sides, as well and you may find it hard to breathe.

Here is a website to read I hope it helps.

Hi! I can never tell if it’s costochondritis since it’s never my chest but my back ribs and side of them. Worse on the left side but happens also on the right and happens mostly when laying down or twisting.
