Members shared their experiences with painful muscle twitches and spasms, a symptom that can make even light touch unbearable and disrupt sleep. Several members recommended magnesium supplementation, with one noting significant improvement in twitching after about a month, while another suggested slow-release magnesium without added calcium, and one member offered the creative tip of drinking tonic water before bed for its quinine content, which can help reduce spasms. A recurring theme was the frustration of dealing with chronic, unexplained twitching and the ongoing search for relief, balanced with gentle support and humor from the community.

I started a magnesium supplement about a month ago. It has really helped the twitching

Have you tried Tonic Water? It has Quinine in it. Quinine is often prescribed after surgery to stop muscle spasms. It doesn't matter if you get a cheap no-name brand because all Tonic Water has it. Try drinking a glass before bed every night. I personally hate the taste of it! Yuck!! Lol! It's much cheaper than a prescription! Oh.. Don't get it confused with soda water though.. only TONIC WATER πŸ˜‰ I sure hope it helps you as much as it has helped others.
