Benefit Help!!!
A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭

I am currently claiming ESA, which i had to under go a rather gruelling assessment 4 weeks ago, during a flare up, (still awaiting outcome) but now i have my Fibromyalgia diagnosis in writing, I don't know if I should make a PIP application? I'm worried if i get declined for PIP will I automatically lose my ESA too?
Any shared personal experiences gratefully recieved.

Through my experience I couldn’t claim PIP because i wasn’t disabled enough for it. Not sure if you lose ESA with having PIP.

Thankyou, I have heard that Fibromyalgia often isn't considered dibilatating enough to claim PIP.
