Ever feel like you have to decide “ which pain is worse?” So I had a migraine, then I had neck/shoulder pain, now stomach pain. Sometimes I feel like “ which pain can I deal with easier today?” It is a shame when a good day is one where the pain “ isn’t quite as bad. A completely pain free day would be wonderful! I wish everyone a low pain day!

Members connected deeply over the daily challenge of choosing which pain to manage first, with many describing how they mentally rank their symptoms each morning or ask partners which body part hurts most that day. Several members shared which pains they find most manageable, with many preferring arm or back pain over stomach issues (which trigger health anxiety) or migraines (which make driving unsafe), while others noted that travel and physical activity often trigger widespread swelling and flare-ups. A recurring theme was the shared dream of a completely pain-free day and the reality of learning to pace activities, rest without guilt, and lean on partners or family to fill in the gaps when certain movements become impossible.

So true--both my husband and I sit at the breakfast table and ask each other--what hurts most today. That way we can fill each other's gaps. One has bad knees--the other does all the crouching etc. Lord forbid we both have the same thing hurting! lol

What a dream it would be to have no pain. Traveling seems to be setting off most pain areas for me atm but I can't give in and stop living life. I guess it's a gamble with Fybro.

Love DannyFC’s answer, you are so right! Summed it up spot on! I reckon it’s how you handle it, plus unfortunately its rare to have pain free days ! I just try to make appointments around 1pm as I find my meds have kicked in, I have managed to keep food down, even if it’s four little crackers for lunch! Just try and rest if in bad pain or feeling down! Flick on telly, avoid the news! As at the moment, down under here our cousins next door in Australia are burning up! New Zealand Army, Navy and our fire fighters have gone to help! God bless them all! We have fires down the bottom is South Island, plus smoke and ash is coming over from Ausy! Two days at 4 pm it was like 9pm at night, it was dark grey as smoke sat over sun,was quite scary!
Bless you all and take DannyFC s advice, that’s funny! Xx

Yes all the time. Different pains are better for different reasons. I don't like stomach pains as I decide it must be something horrible. Leg pains and back pains are not worrying but far more of an inconvenience as I struggle to get out of bed never mind everything else. Chest pains are ok but I worry it might actually be a heart attack or breast cancer this time. Head pains are ok if they are at the back of my head as I know that's coming more from my neck. Migraines make it hard to drive. Arm pains are ok to. Think I will choose arm pains please 😁
