Cannabis use in Colorado has been on the rise since medical cannabis was liberalized in 2009 and recreational cannabis went on sale in 2014, and it has led to an increase in emergency department visits, according to a new study. If there isn’t any side effects from marijuana, why have emergency visits in Colorado gone up after it was legalized there? Also, just because something is natural doesn’t make it safe. Plants can harbor some of the most deadly poisons known. From the death of Socrates by poison hemlock to the accidental ingestion of deadly nightshade by children, poisonous plants have been responsible for human deaths throughout history. I’m not saying marijuana will kill you....I’m saying just because it’s natural doesn’t mean it’s safe. Im not anti marijuana, I’m in Michigan and voted yes for it to be legalized. I just don’t want people thinking there are no side effects from it. I get paranoid and very sleepy (side effects) when I use it, and it doesn’t help my pain at all.

The medication we take is a hundred times worse than marijuana. It helps me sleep at night, when nothing helped with my restless leg syndrome. It helps my digestive system and when none of my pain meds work I smoke strong THC and go to bed. The CBD cream works wonders. Almost all of my friends who deal with pain eventually try some form or another. Even my 80 year old co workers, and we are all nurses. Don't knock it until you try it.

At JillAlynMcMurray, I agree the drugs they give us is worse than pot. I’m not knocking it at all. I’ve tried it several times, smoking, vaping, edibles it doesn’t work for me. We spent 2 weeks in Colorado where it’s legal, I even went to a doctor there. I was telling the OP that pot does have side effects, nothing like the side effects from the pharmaceutical drugs, but it does have side effects. But then she said that CBD oil in Canada has cured everyone with cancer 100%. I don’t believe that at all.

So because your neighbor makes CBD oil, and medical doctors are sending their patients to this guy selling CBD oil....everyone in Canada that had cancer is cured? Do you have anything to backup the following claim you made?

Because in my research from the Canadian Cancer Society site, it contradicts your statement. It states the following:

It is estimated that in (Phone number can only be seen by the question and answer creators) Canadian men will be diagnosed with cancer and 43,300 men will die from cancer.
107,400 Canadian women will be diagnosed with cancer and 38,700 women will die from cancer.
On average, 604 Canadians will be diagnosed with cancer every day.
On average, 225 Canadians will die from cancer every day

It’s one thing to say smoking pot helps your fibromyalgia. But to claim that Canada uses CBD oil to cure all cancers with 100% success rate is just wrong.

And you speak from experience right. My next-door neighbour sells CBD oil and has cured himself of blatter cancer type 2 diabetes and pain from a work injury. His doctor has now pronounced him cancer-free for 5 yrs. The physician was so amazed by this turn out he is now referring patients to him for alternative treatment because it is legal. I have witnessed breast cancer patients cured without radiation or chemo. People with skin cancer cured. A man with MS for 20 yrs standing tall and walking straight. I know so many people that had some form of cancer that are now healthy by hooping the oil and changing their diet. So believe what you want. There's none so blind as those who do not wish to see.
