Does anyone use these? I have tried Biofreeze, Stopain and Zims. Also some of the patches. They're all pretty much the same. They help a bit at bedtime so I can relax and sleep. The Stopain is good because it comes in spray and I can get my back. Do you have a favorite that is really helpful?

Members shared a wide variety of topical pain relief options beyond the original poster's favorites, with prescription lidocaine ointment and patches, CBD creams from Whole Foods, and prescription Voltaren gel emerging as popular alternatives to menthol-based products like Biofreeze. Several members emphasized preferring non-menthol options to avoid the cold, burning sensation, with CBD creams noted for being effective without strong odors, while others mentioned creative solutions like veterinary-grade creams, Arnica lotions, and even cutting lidocaine patches into smaller pieces for targeted relief. A recurring theme was finding relief that fits individual needs, whether avoiding certain ingredients, addressing inflammation without oral medications, or combining topical treatments with CBD oils for both pain and sleep support.

You might also consider using a CBD/THC oil for pain and sleep. I've been using both for the past 3 years and I find them incredibly effective!

I use something called n'ice n cool for horses. it comes from a vet in Chester, SC. It only costs 10.00 and it's a quart size bottle. I massage it in to my body wherever I'm hurting worse that day. You can go on-line under Cox Lab Veterinary Clinic.

This is what my chiropractor uses, I have this as well. It works very well but it has more of a smell so I prefer the CBD cream. Both are good.

Prescription Voltaren gel. I CANNOT take any Non-steroidal anti-inflammatories (e. g., Motrin [ibuprofen]) by mouth so this is perfect to ease inflammation without so much getting into my system.
