Iv been to the doctors about it but they don't know what it is and since it's not life threatening they just shrug it off. My belly swells to the point where my streach marks split. It feels like water maybe?? Don't really know. Does anyone else have this? If so do you know how to deal this it?
It's so uncomfortable.

Members connected over the frustrating experience of severe abdominal swelling that doctors often dismiss as IBS despite it being far worse than typical digestive discomfort, with many describing bellies that swell to look several months pregnant and stretch marks that split from the pressure. Several members identified Lyrica as a potential culprit for bloating, while others shared that their swelling has no predictable pattern, can strike whether they eat or not, and doesn't respond to elimination diets or food diaries. A recurring theme was the emotional toll of feeling dismissed by doctors who offer no real answers, the isolation of symptoms that seem impossible to control, and the relief of discovering they are not alone in this painful and unpredictable struggle.

Are you on Lyrica by any chance? I'm on Lyrica, and I'm incredibly swollen from it.

Look into seeing an Endocrine doctor. There is a condition called Cushings Syndrome. Look up the signs and symptoms it maybe worth leading your doctor for that testing. I am very disapointed in the lack of doctors efforts for people with Fibro. They believe nothing else can go wrong.

Thank you for all the answers.
Fibro mate you just reminded me that hen the bloating started it was just after I joined the gym. I stopped after a couple of months since I couldn't do it any more the the bloating hasn't stopped. It comes and goes all the time. I'm glad I'm not alone sometimes I feel like I'm crazy
