It doesnt feel like reflux. No burning, belching, etc. Rather, I have these pains that hit my stomach throughout each day. Randomly. Different portions of my stomach. At one point it's the right, then it may be the left, etc. Do any of you have strange stomach pains or issues?

Members discussed the challenging experience of random stomach pains that shift locations throughout the day, with many sharing that their pain doesn't always present with typical reflux symptoms like burning or belching. Several members recommended practical strategies including trying Gaviscon extra strength liquid after meals, slippery elm supplements, medications like omeprazole or simethicone for gas, and getting thorough medical evaluations through a GP or gastroenterologist, including endoscopy and colonoscopy to rule out underlying issues. A recurring theme was the complex connection between fibromyalgia and digestive health, with many noting that certain foods like wheat can trigger both stomach discomfort and full-body fibro flares, and that medications themselves can sometimes irritate the stomach lining, requiring careful management with medical providers.

yes for years I take simethacone and omeprazol for any thing mildly spicy or acidic and too prevent gas.

see a doctor!! that doesn't sound fibro related unless you are having the muscle pain between your ribs and it happens to be in the stomach area. just my thought. press on your stomach area between the ribs and see if that is painful? another thought is i have had gas high up near the stomach (i take a fiber supplement as i have IBS. maybe it is just related to gas or your stomach emptying. the ideas on previous comments about your meds are good. meds can irritate the stomach lining as well. i think you should see a dr though. maybe start with your regular GP and they can refer you to gastro-enterologist or other speciality if needed.

Yes lots of different random pains. They can change place or type within seconds. Think it's muscle pains maybe or sometimes jeans ect touching my skin.

I have. I had a scope done less than 2 years ago that only showed some gastritis. They have put me on Acid reducers which are not helping.
