Members confirmed that weakness, pain, and tingling in the hands and arms are common and frustrating experiences with fibromyalgia, with several describing difficulty holding objects, typing, lifting cups, or even combing their hair. Many shared practical strategies that have helped them cope, including using a phone headset to avoid holding devices, taking muscle relaxers or magnesium supplements to reduce cramping, doing gentle stretches before bed, and choosing low-impact exercises like swimming. A recurring theme was the importance of getting symptoms medically evaluated, as one member discovered their weakness was caused by collapsed disks pressing on the spinal cord, and acknowledging the need to adjust expectations and factor physical limitations into daily activities.

Ana it’s part of fibro. I went fishing on the coast and caught a beautiful redfish but i cud not reek the sucker in🤬
My arms were on fire and cramping, so disappointing. My buddy was confused when I asked to him to finish feeling it in..if only I was kidding! Sadly it’s something we have to factor into things. That being said it’s still important it exercise doing something, swimming is the best. I wish you the best:)

I had the same symptoms 3 years ago. I could not walk up a flight of stairs without my legs wobbling and the arms lost strength. I went for an MRI . The result was 3 disks in my neck had collapsed and was putting pressure on my spinal cord. Had nerve damage. I had to go for ACDF surgery. Because of the trauma my body went through it triggered fibromyalgia. I suggest you have it checked out.

I do some stretches before I go to bed on the muscles that cramp. Also take magnesium as a lack of it I think contributes to cramping. I wud do some googling on it, Dr Google has a lot of good information
