My husband and I are starting the IVF process and I want to know if I can pass fibromyalgia on to my kids? and if I do become pregnant will my fibromyalgia get worse?
I agree, find another rheumatologist! They’re the ones who know all about this disease. Are you sure he’s not an MD? ❣️
I have you name it, all the bad symptoms of fibromyalgia & I'm not able to hold a full time job. I have had this for 24 years now. I also have severe depression because I have lost my purpose of raising 2 daughters that are adults now. How do fibromyalgia people make it financially by themselves?
No husband, knew how hard it is to get on disability. Then got custody of my grandchildren and needed to work to feed them and keep a roof over their heads. It wasn’t fun and very stressful, I do t… read more
I am increasingly unable to go anywhere where there are bright lights. Fluorescent lighting in particular brings on dizziness, nausea, confusion and swearing headaches. Can't go shopping and find it very difficult during my many Doctor and hospital appointments. Tried wearing sunglasses and UV computer screen filtering specs with decreasing success.

Wen2, exactly how I have felt!
I found a question and answer on Google that just doesn't make sense to me. First I read that it may be different in different people,, meaning (?} that it could be autoimmune. Then it says Fibro is not autoimmune, which I thought it is. So, here's Google's answer.
Is fibromyalgia autoimmune or neurological?
They may be different in different people. Current research suggests involvement of the nervous system, particularly the central nervous system (brain and spinal cord). Fibromyalgia is… read more
From what I understand it is not autoimmune. It is neurological and muscular. But, I am no expert.
My daughter swears by 100% celery juice on an empty stomach first thing in the morning. She too has fibro and swears it has helped her. Has anyone else tried this?
I've also have noticed the change in my diet. I eat a lot of berries and grapes. I only eat chicken and started recently eating salmon. I am beginning to eat a lot of fresh veggies.
Are there any new treatments?
