Members shared mixed experiences with D-Ribose for fatigue, with one member finding it helpful at lower doses but experiencing jitteriness and heart racing at higher amounts, while another tried it for three months without noticing any difference. Several members offered alternative suggestions for managing fatigue, including checking vitamin B12 levels (especially if at the low end of normal), trying B-complex vitamins, Co-enzyme Enada, vitamin D2, and vitamin E for fibromyalgia flares. A recurring theme was caution for those with diabetes, as D-Ribose can lower blood sugar levels.

Have you had your Vitamin B12 levels checked? I’m going to do that as apparently a vitamin B12 deficiency can cause severe fatigue and paresthesia. If it’s really low injections can be given for this. Good luck with the D Ribose Debra. I hope it helps you πŸ’•

I've never tried it they say it could help in chronic fatigue and fibromyalgia. Because it helps muscles. The reason why I haven't tried it yeah to be very careful if you're diabetic now I don't take much medicine for it only glyburide. But that levels my blood sugar and this medicine d ribose can cause low blood sugar. So diabetics should watch out for this. Can't hurt to try it for you I wish you all the best. Theresa 🌞

I tried it for about 3 months and felt no difference at all. It seems to work for some though. It’s worth a try πŸ˜€
