I was told that having stem cell treatments would lower my 'overall' pain and therefore, my fibro would improve. I was my own donor (hip marrow) and had it injected in 12 facets and 6 discs (3 cervical and 3 lumbar). The stem cells were also mixed with my red blood cells (PRP) at the same time. This was done in two procedures and I had a fantastic result in a very short time. Very little in the way of recovery. Constant back pain, neck pain and limb numbness is now GONE and my fibro flares have softened in intensity, duration and frequency. I highly recommend it IF you find a very experienced and well recommended doctor like I did. I do NOT recommend using umbilical cord stem cells as (told by several doctors) they can contain unknown inheritable cells that can give you other problems. Being your own donor eliminates that problem.

They have new treatment ....Lidocaine Infusion august 26th to see if it works to relief all nerve pain & fibro. So I'll give it a try !!

Yes, Grammyok, This one is very costly I think the treatment comes in a set of three treatments I'm still doing more research on it. There is another one that's not very costly the insurance covers this one it's made like a hearing aide so you wear it in your ear like you would your Bluetooth there is no surgery or injections involved. I will be trying this one to see if it will work I'll let you know.

Mary, I go to a pain manaagement doctor, and I usually see his P.A. on my regularly scheduled appointments. He has bad back problems and a limp. A stem cell company was trying to sell their product to the pain dr. and gave the P.A. a free treatment. I understand the treatments are outrageously expensive and insurance cos. are not covering them yet. He said he got a lot better after the treatment, but I noticed at m y last visit he was still limping again.

My doctor did not buy the package, the P.A. said the dr. would have to buy a LARGE supply or none at all, and he did not think there would be a big enough demand to cover his initial expense, especially sincce the treaments are so expensive. My friend had it for back pain and it worked great. I have fibro. It also stenosis in my lower back. I'm going to try this.
