Nasal Polyps
A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭

Don't think its related to fibromyalgia but always get amazing advice here.

Has anyone had or got nasal polyps? Did you find anything that helped?

I currently 2 of 6 weeks into a steroid spray from my gp. I feel like I'm full of a cold yet again which reading online is about right, but none on my usually things are helping

Any advice very welcome thanks

Try a neti pot. It takes some getting used to, but it's the only thing that has actually worked for me with no side effects.

My Ent gave me a salt water nasal spray. You can use it as much as you want. Really helped me. I was told to do adaily sinus rinse as well, neilmed.

Does your nose continuously leak ? If so please see your doctor.

Could the steroid nasal spray be making it worse? And/or causing it? My hubby got thrush all over his mouth when had to use steroid spray inhaler. I don’t know, but steroids can be so strong, so it was just a thought.
