I get laser treatment every time I go to PT. It’s usually coupled with massage and stretching. It’s been very effective for me, but I am not sure if it’s just the laser or the combo of everything they do for me. Overall physical therapy has been the most helpful thing for me. It’s not immediate all the time but over the course of a couple weeks I usually find significant relief after a muscle is flared up.

Hi this is just an update I've now done 5 laser therapy started on my inner left leg by the knee. It's probably one of my worst source of pain we also did half of the left knee. the last two were on the other side of the left knee and that hard muscle that I always seem to get on my legs never goes away seems a little looser I must say pain is dropped a lot if I dig into the knee I can find some pain. But really it has taken the pain I would say down by 40% I might be able to get on a pair of jeans or a pair of more fitted pants because I can't wear anything where the seme touches my leg but I think I might be able to handle it. But now it never ends they doing deep massage in my calves back of the knee back of the leg the ankles it's all my worst parts and they're killing me right now and yesterday I twisted my foot my left foot the wrong way heard a pop but I can walk and move my feet and move my toes but it's very bruised and it doesn't tickle at all. LOL it's always something but I think the laser is really working. I have no idea if this is permanent but I'll take the little relief I can't say it gives me more function but you can do more if it doesn't hurt. That's what I have so far I'll let you know as I keep going. Gentle hugs and less pain to all.🌞🌞🌞🌞🌞

They rub it along kind of like I think you were getting a sonogram without the gel. He just started I thought I felt less tenderness on the inside of my legs which is awful. So we're going to work on one side for the next week or two and see what happens. No pain involved really except for the rubbing of the laser on the leg and it's pretty soft. Because I'm Nam he just has to check that I don't get too hot. Who didn't get a chance so when I know something I will post the whole thing. My physical therapy has laser therapy. They're doing 6 sessions for $50

I will definitely let you know how everything goes. My worst all right is my right leg and me and the ankle in particular especially the inside of the legs are they may it's just terrible it's numb and only feels pain can't wear pants because the seam touches them so I where lose things all the time .

I have gone to Physiotherapy amd physical therapy. If you look it up they say it's the same thing but it definitely was not for me. Physiotherapy was much more hands on. He would push on my pressure points and have me move my legs side to side ( I have a lot of hip pain). He would also push on other street points and I would do a different exercise. It really hurt while he was doing it and the next day I could barely walk, but i did go back that next day and his assistant works on me more gentle since i had had such an extreme session the day before. That did help, but those pressure points really hurt for a few days.
I had to stop going since I couldn't work anymore and couldn't even afford my $20 deductible.
I have never heard of laser therapy.
I will have to check around to find a place that offers laser therapy. (and "ask" my husband for the money).
How does it work? What do they do?
Thank you!
