I think it was worth the money. It really gets the knot out of trigger points.

Members enthusiastically discussed the Thera Cane and other self-massage tools for relieving trigger points and muscle tightness. Several members shared that tennis balls, foam rollers, and therapy balls can be just as effective depending on the area, with tips like using a wall for upper back relief or starting with a rolled-up towel before a foam roller. A recurring theme was the importance of starting gently, controlling your own pressure, and combining full-body releases with corrective exercises for longer-lasting relief.

I’ve used tennis balls very carefully, it helps some, the metal thingy, however, just about killed me! Waaaaaay too painful.

I don’t think that’s rude at all. 😉

A tennis ball would absolutely work. I prefer a tennis ball or therapy ball for my traps and upper back area- either lying down or up against the wall. 🫠

I sometimes use a foam roller, mostly on my hips but also sometimes I’ll lay with it going the long way down my spine and let my arms fall to the sides which helps open and stretch my chest and shoulder muscles. Had a PT recommend that sort of stretch to me a while back and it seems to help. I’d start with a rolled up towel instead of a foam roller if you try it though (which is what the PT said), the smaller and softer the item the less intense the stretch. Those pressure point massagers tend to be too intense for me but I like the idea of them

I find it hard to figure out how to hold it lol. It’s like trying to be a contortionist. Lol

That’s right and you can start super gentle.
Glad it works for you, Lore. I love mine.
