I have cyclical neutropaenia ( white cells that fight infection) which affect immunity
My neutrophils go up to above normal and then slowly drop to below normal then they climb again.
When they are low I catch everything flying by and it takes ages to shake it off
I have dramatically improved my diet and have not been ill for a long time.

Our family just went through a round of brutal flu!!! My grandson was sick one night. Then I had it Sat morning then also Mon, Tues and Thurs!! My daughter and other grandson only had it Sun and my husband just had it Friday. I figured it took me longer to get over it because of my fibro. Also, I got a bad rope burn on my legs five weeks and three days ago and they are finally healing!! I’m sure any normal person, it would have been cleared up two weeks ago at the most but us lucky fibro warriors really need more pain added to our bodies for a longer period than everyone else! Lol

While fibromyalgia does not “cause” an impaired immune system, it's clear to see how they relate to each other. The same factors that create an impaired immune system can also open the door to health challenges such as fibromyalgia, autoimmune concerns, and chronic disease.
The symptoms of fibromyalgia can mimic those of common autoimmune disorders. ... However, sometimes the immune system develops a glitch and attacks healthy tissue.
