I am having a really bad pain and pressure behind right ear, eye, head and neck. It’s so bad that I fee something is going to pop in my head and ear or my eye will come out. I love sun but sun light is making it worst.
Did anyone else had same experience?

Members shared their experiences with severe pain behind the ear, eye, head, and neck, with many describing similar symptoms including sharp shooting pains, pressure, and increased sensitivity to sunlight. Several members offered potential explanations and solutions, including the possibility of migraines, ear infections, or occipital neuralgia, with one member finding relief through nerve blocker and trigger point injections after ruling out more common causes. A recurring theme was the validation and support members found in discovering others experiencing the same unusual and frightening symptoms, along with practical strategies like heating pads, chiropractic adjustments, and multiple rounds of trigger point injections.

Hi Maid, yes I get a sharp shooting pain back of my head and ear, pain specialist block the nerve and did trigger point injections, 3 in my forehead, than different parts of my head and neck. It actually took my shooting pain away, I didn’t have ear ache since Wednesday, I am getting it again today, but he told me I have to repeat trigger point injections few times.
I think sounds like we r dealing with the same issue. Sun bothers me too.
Hope you will get relief from this pain, I know how you feeling, lots of prayers for you.🙏🙏

Yes! My scalp hurts so bad! Then I got a sinus infection along with the scalp pain. Antibiotics helped the sinus infection but I've had the burning scalp pain for about 5 months now. It hurts to brush my fingers through my hair and my hair is cut very short. Then one night I woke up because my ear was hurting on the tip. By morning, behind my ear I was having spasms like I had a tens unit on there. Every few seconds it would spasm and my neck and shoulder would contract. My doctor told me I had shingles with no rash. I didn't believe it. He gave me Gabapentin, Prednisone, and a pain killer. A few days later the headache and neck pain was so bad I went to my chiropractor to get my neck adjusted. He helped my headache a bit. But now, my scalp is still so painful, as is my neck. I live in Nevada and the sun keeps me from going outside. It causes me such pain. I'm searching for sunglasses I can wear over my prescription glasses. I get so dizzy driving it's hard for me to track all the movements of other cars. The sun also makes the pain of my scalp worse. I've done my own research and found that this is fairly common with Fibromyalgia. It is not shingles as I thought. I feel nauseated in the heat. We are moving out of Nevada soon! Hope this helps!

I can’t go out in the sun and can’t tolerate heat very well. The sun on my skin burns terribly. Summer use to be my favorite time of year. Not any more
