Sore Spots? Pulled Muscles?
A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭

I know that there are typical pressure points where pain is more likely due to fibro. But does anyone else have other spots that feel sore, like possibly bruised if they're brushed or bumped? I have had these spots before mostly on my arms and thighs and they go away within a few days, but right now I have a sore spot on the inner/side of my calf. It hasn't gone away and now I do notice a pulling/stretching feeling in the same spot of my leg when standing or walking.

Anyone else had anything… read more

I get pains and soreness in all sorts of random places. Maybe you pulled something that in other people would give hardly any pain but in someone with fibro it's far worse. Hope you feel better x

You may want to try foam rolling to rehydrate your sore muscles.

Magnesium Malate will also help calm down sore muscles.

@A MyFibroTeam Member I'm actually not on any medication at this time. And the "bruising" is more a feeling... there's nothing actually there. Not that I can see anyway.

@A MyFibroTeam Member no redness or swelling. Just a pulling feeling when standing or walking. There's occasionally a pinching feeling only in one spot after I sit/rest after walking around. I've never heard of chronic compartment syndrome, but I'll definitely look it up.

What other symptoms you have? Redness, swelling?
"Chronic compartment syndrome, also known as exertional compartment syndrome, is usually not a medical emergency. It is most often caused by athletic exertion."
