Does anyone else find wearing socks and shoes get annoying and prefer to have open shoes? I find my feet sweat and get stuffy inside shoes and sore.

Members connected over the shared frustration of finding comfortable footwear when dealing with foot pain, with many expressing relief at finally taking their shoes off at the end of the day and preferring to go barefoot or wear soft slippers at home. Several members shared that they gravitate toward soft-soled trainers like New Balance, low-heeled boots, or open-toed sandals, while avoiding hard-soled shoes and high heels that aggravate nerve pain, swelling, or sore toe pads. A recurring theme was the constant search for comfort, with mixed results from insoles, and the soothing relief of placing hot, aching feet on a cool floor.

I tried inner soles for my high arch in my shoes and it definitely made a difference so will be using them all the time now.

Always. Unless it's a cold day and raining then I wear low cut boots that my toes can still move, otherwise it's sandals and open toe shoes always.

Same here I am hardly ever out too and wear slippers about the house but even in them my feet are sore sometime and I just want to put them on the cool floor.

Same here.. still searching for comfort. I don't get out much,
so soft slippers work pretty well for awhile..
