If you get a cold, food poisoning, etc. do you get a flare on top of it or notice fibro symptoms combining with the normal symptoms of those ailments?

Oh yeah, I got the flu this year in spite of a flu shot and the flair that jumped in on it was worse than the flu! (and lasted 2 weeks)

Thank you for your replies! It's something that occurred to me because I came down with either food poisoning or stomach flu Tuesday morning and it's way worse than I remember food poisoning being. Aside from the expected nausea, vomiting, headache, etc. I got a fever temp. and unbearable back and leg pain and I noticed it's the same pain I get with flares. The only hint of relief I could get was to lay on my back, but laying on my back would make me throw up. Not a nice combination of issues! 😓 I'm still dealing with it so I'm assuming it's stomach flu.
I've noticed pain and stiffness in my fingers the last few days too. It doesn't help that it's been raining for days.
