Members overwhelmingly confirmed experiencing shooting pains throughout their bodies, describing them as brief but intense sensations like electric shocks or a red hot poker that can take their breath away or cause limbs to jump involuntarily. Several members shared that these sharp pains appear randomly in various locations including legs, arms, hips, and feet, often lasting only seconds but sometimes severe enough to double someone over. A recurring theme was acceptance of these unpredictable symptoms as part of living with fibromyalgia, with one member suggesting topical relief options like Voltaren cream or deep heat rub.

Yes. I have had fibro for 30 years and the sharp shooting pains come out of nowhere but at least they dont stay too long. So many weird symptoms that we deal with. I dont think I could even make a list of all of the symptoms that I have had in 30 years. Lol
