There are still some doctors who don´t believe fibromyalgia is real. find help elsewhere.
Sounds like the pain clinic doctor needs to do some research. Fibromyalgia is a real illness. As of right now there are no drugs to properly treat fibromyalgia. There are only drugs to help ease the symptoms, and for a lot of patients that doesn't even work. I can no longer take any medications, so I can't really advise you on what are the best drugs for fibro. Please whatever you do don't believe the pain clinic doc.
See someone else. You are your own best advocate. It can be isolating, but you know you best.
Lots of doctors think it's in your head! It is a condition & here in the UK it is classed as a disability. Persist with your doctor & see a different pain doctor. Take care. X
