What Do You Do Or Take To Help Give You More Energy?
A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭

I need energy! I’m exhausted from just unloading the dishwasher. Any suggestions?

Thanks!

For energy I take Jarrow’s B-Right vitamin B complex. It has quite a bit of vitamin B 6 in it. (Never go over 50 mg. of B6 according to ConsumersLab.com ). Also, Healthy Origins Ubiqinol. It is a more absorbent form of Coq10. Swanson R-fraction Alpha Lipoic Acid can also help. It can lower blood sugar so be careful with it. There are other supplements for mitochondria support that help....Pure Encapsulations has a Mitochondria-ATP supplement that has a variety of things in it. I get a little wired on it though. I think N-acetyl-Cysteine helps, but again it can make me feel wired. Over the years I have experimented with different supplements... including brands, doses . I write it all down and time of day I take and then any reaction... good or bad. And have found what works for me. I also think a clean diet helps. No processed food. Eliminate sugar. ( which is hard). Eat a ton of vegetables everyday especially greens. Even for breakfast. I read that its best to be gluten-free if you have fibro. I am pretty much, but I don’t think that that is a big issue for me. Although it is difficult to have such a diet, I find it helps me all the way around. Experiment and find what works for you. Pain on bad weather days is still a huge issue for me. God bless you all.

I bought myself a juicer for Christmas after watching a documentary called Fat,sick and nearly dead. After seeing how Joe cured himself and turned his life around, how could I not! I have a lot more energy and feel better overall, even if I only have 1 glass a day..lots of different recipes online.

Healthy Origins brand of ubiquinol is a much more absorbant form of coq10. That is it works better for me at least. It is best to take it or coq10 with some fat in a meal for absorption.

I know that no one wants to hear this because it sounds almost impossible! I feel like I never want to get out of bed but I still work full time in an office. I MAKE myself get up and it is the hardest thing to do, but I do it. After I get up, I am better. I need to exercise so I am going to push myself and try to do this for prob no longer than 5 minutes. (they say every minute helps, right?) We have to have a strong mind and pray that we can keep it. Just keep pushing. I wear braces on my knees from osteoarthritis, rub nice and cool on my body vigorously whereever the fibro is that day, take voltaren for osteoarthitis, take magnesium and vitamin D, a multivitamin for women over 50, and CBD gel caps-50 mgs. Just pray and MAKE yourself get out of the bed, get in a hot bathtub and stretch! lay on your back and stretch every muscle you can and then lay on your stomach and do the same. I sure hope and pray we can get relief one day soon.
