Does anyone get surface skin tingling? For example my arm can brush up across my blanket or I’ll just put on my jacket...then the annoying tingling sensation starts in that area 🙄

Anyone else? This rather common in Fibro?

Members widely confirmed that surface skin tingling from light touch, like clothing or blankets brushing against the skin, is very common with fibromyalgia, often accompanied by burning, hypersensitivity, and sensations described as allodynia or dysaesthesia. Several members shared specific experiences, including hearing nerve clicking sounds upon waking, feeling as though bugs are crawling on the skin, avoiding pedicures due to painful burning, and needing to wear only soft, silky fabrics or change clothes multiple times a day to minimize discomfort. A recurring theme was recognizing these sensations as overactive nerves misfiring, with many members finding validation in knowing they are not alone in experiencing these unpredictable and frustrating symptoms.

I’ve had the sheets brush against my my cheeks and it feels as though I scraped my face on the pavement.

Thank you @A MyFibroTeam Member !! Will 100% keep you all posted, and even if this did turn out to be MS or something I’d like to keep in touch with the community to see if we can help discover differences in the two 🙂 though personal experiences definitely seem to differ
