A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭

I worked for three months during the two plus years that I was waiting for my disability and when we got to the appeal trial they held it against me that I worked. I told them that I was fired for not being able to perform the job due to not being able to stand and work the hours, etc- and they didn't care. To them, it showed that I COULD work. I was pissed because I Had read that its better to show that you at least try to work. Not in my case!!! I was denied disablity and told I could work in an office as a receptionist.

My mother in law went to work while waiting and it messed up her whole disability for over a year.
