Still trying to work out what is best to use for muscle aches, pains and tightness. Someone suggested duloxetine especially helps this in Fibro. Do you any of you have any experiences for muscle aches, tenderness and pains using this medication and any side effects??

Members shared mixed experiences with duloxetine for fibromyalgia muscle pain, with several reporting meaningful relief from aches and tenderness, while others found benefits primarily in improved sleep or only modest pain reduction. Many community members described needing additional medications alongside duloxetine, including Tylenol, gabapentin, Lyrica, or Tramadol, and some highlighted alternative approaches like turmeric tea or CBD oil as helpful supplements. A recurring theme was that the medication takes time to work, ranging from a few days to several months, and common side effects included drowsiness and constipation, with members emphasizing that individual responses vary widely and anything is worth trying to find personal relief.

I was put on duloxetine when i was diagnosed 3 yrs ago. It helped me a lot with pain and depression. Have tried other drugs and treatments but nothing helped as well as this one. Hope you get some relief if you go on it!😊

I am taking duloxetine - I have found that I am very constipated, this is a side effect of this drug and many others for pain. I have not found much relief, but I do not know how much pain I would be in without it. I would give it a try - but watch for side effects. Good luck

It only took me four days and I wasn’t cringing every time I went to open a door.
