I've been battling with terrible tummy ache (upper) so bad the dr send me for a gastro scope think there's something wrong like an ulcer. All came out clear. I also have pain in my colon area with very bad diarrhea. Dr send me for a barium enema, here to no problem. They say it's IBS.

I just want to know if anyone else has the same type of symptoms ?

Members responding to a question about stomach pain and IBS symptoms overwhelmingly confirmed they experience similar digestive issues, with many of their doctors attributing these problems directly to fibromyalgia rather than IBS alone. Several members shared dietary changes that brought them relief, including eliminating gluten, dairy, soy, nightshades, carbonated drinks, and acidic foods, with some reporting significant weight loss and reduced symptoms after adopting low-residue or gastroparesis diets and adding daily probiotics. A recurring theme was the frustration of navigating multiple specialists and tests before getting answers, the daily challenge of timing activities around unpredictable bowel symptoms, and the emotional toll of managing yet another debilitating aspect of fibromyalgia.

I've eliminated those foods from my daily diet which helps so much.
Along with that to get better, I take a probiotic daily in the morning. And a Tum's antacid at night .

I suffered for around 5yrs with abdominal pain, and fought to get a hysterectomy thinking that this could the only thing left that was giving me pain as they had ran tests for everythn else, so I got it and for a year I was gd, but slowly and surely it came bk, this was before I was diagnosed with fibro, so I now think I actually got hysterectomy for nothing, everyday is a different day for me, with some part of my body aching, somedays it's all of my body, never a day without some pain, tc πŸ’• u all. Fresh ginger tea is way better for you, it will settle your stomach. Three slices of fresh ginger in a large mug of water. Microwave for three minutes. Let cool for five minutes. Add honey and water to taste.
