Can you describe the fatigue you feel? Like do your muscles just feel like they can't go on anymore? Or is it you feel heavy and tired? What is it like for you?

Members described fibromyalgia fatigue in vivid and deeply personal terms, with many comparing it to having their energy suddenly drained, feeling like they're moving through quicksand, or being weighed down by invisible heavy blankets. Several members shared that their exhaustion goes beyond normal tiredness to include heavy and achy muscles, foggy thinking and word-finding difficulties, sudden weakness that forces them to lie down mid-task, and in some cases a flu-like feeling or body parts that feel like they're vibrating with exhaustion. A recurring theme was the emotional toll of this unpredictable fatigue, with members fighting feelings of defeat and laziness while leaning on understanding spouses, mindfulness practices, hot showers for relief, and mutual encouragement to keep pushing forward without letting the condition win.

I feel like someone has pulled the plug on my energy sometimes......other times I’m just too tired to even get out of my own way......muscles feel heavy and achy, my head feels heavy and full of cotton wool......just absolutely no energy, can’t think...I lose my words just feel old and weary.....

The fatigue for me comes and goes, as does all of it, throughout the day. It usually feels like heavy or burning muscles. Or like a seriously heavy blanket has been laid over me.

Lol im like the puppy in the pic. Lately i feel drugged i am so groggy and weak, which is new for me. Used to just be low energy. Now can barely move from one room to another and am weak. Also waking in the a.m is difficult sometimes. Sometimes my body feels like dead weights or a truck is on me. What about you?
