Weird thing, probably the scariest thing I experience. It's as though I have to make myself breathe at times. Not pain like costochondritis. And I assume I am still breathing cause I don't pass out or anything. But it feels, a few times a day, I have to consciously breathe. Please, has anyone had this before?

Yup! I find myself all of a sudden taking a huge breath like i havn't been breathing, its like i hold my breath or something. Stress/anxiety maybe? Not sure if its when im in intense pain or just when im anxious.
Yes! It could be anxiety or generalized anxiety. You don’t realize you have anxiety and it can strike you. Sometimes I can feel short of breath as well.
