If you catch a cold or possibly the flu do you find it takes longer to get well? I have been sick for a month and it seems as if my cough is getting worse and not better.

It does seem like it takes longer to recoup when we get sick. I hope you feel better soon.

Thank you, I had chest congestion with a terrible cough and it took two rounds of antibiotics, taking breathing treatments 4 x per day and two months to finally start feeling better.

Started coming down with something Dec 1; within a week the cold was bronchitis and I was on antibiotics and an inhaler, with ears full of fluid that crackled and popped and dizziness when lying down. 3 weeks later it began to clear, with the ears being the last to 'dry up' then last Thursday sore throat and now my head is full again and I am really fatigued. I have a cough but touch wood it does not seem to be on my chest this time. Still, 7 weeks of coughing, spluttering and feeling rotten.
