My newest symptom is a bit worrisome. I have been getting patches of numbness or decreased sensation. The first time it happened I though I may be having a stroke because it was my left cheek then my left shoulder followed by a few fingers on the left hand (got checked out and was not a stroke.) It is never a whole limb. It may just be my thumb and forefinger or the back of my leg. At the moment it is on my neck and it is affecting the way i swallow. I can not get in to my specialist or doctor… read more

Thanks everyone. It was not an allergic reaction, I went to the hospital because I felt really crappy. There is apparently nothing wrong with me :( Will have to wait for the specialist and hope that it doesn't get any worse. I hate how random this disease is, it really does stretch you. Thanks again for the replies.

I do also, so many parts of this condition. Does anyone know about this 10 point test?

I do get random numbness occasionally too. I agree with Meere31 that since its affecting your throat and swallowing, it needs to be checked asap. Please let us know what they find. Hugs

Courtlee, call your hospital right away and ask to speak to a ER nurse. I don't like the first part with the numbing and the part with getting hard to swallow because God forbid you could have an allergic reaction. It's called, Anaphylaxis reaction where there is swelling of the airways which may be hard to breath. This happened to me, due to an allergic reaction to Iodine and contrast, but it could happen if someone has a food allergy and they don't know it. I had to be intubated on a three day coma in order to save my life. Please call and let them know of all the symptoms, just to make sure your life is not in any kind of risk!
Let us know what they tell you. šŸ˜•
I will be praying for you! May God bless you and protect you.

The bag balm/udder balm I know about is originally used on cow udders but it’s amazing when you use it on your own skin, Walmart sells it. I find massaging it into my legs helps the spasms and cramps along with softer skin, of course any good cream might do the same thing. It’s very thick
