Hi folks, every night recently when i go to bed within a few minutes I get itchy all over. This can go on for hours and keep me awake till 4 or 5 in the morning. Iv tried kicking off the duvet and getting cold cos maybe I was too hot.... Dosent work. Anyone else get this, and more importantly any one have a remedy????? Thanks family. πŸ‘

Yes, I scratch until I draw blood. It only happens at night. Atarax, which is by prescription helps; otherwise, I agree with Benadryl - gel, cream or pill. The gel or cream works quicker because its topical. The pill will help you sleep.

Don’t take very hot showers as it removes moisture from your skin. Also moisturize often. I get it too just as soon as I get comfortable in bed.

I've had the exact same thing! Itching until I feel like I'm going to scratch until I bleed. It eventually passes but interrupted sleep stinks! I have started taking 2 Bendryl 25 mg. And it is helping.

I soak in Kelp and Lavender Epson salt before bed.
