I'm so sorry Nane.... I have had this and was diagnosed with trigeminal neuralgia a few years ago.... my right jaw hurt so badly it felt like someone was drilling a hole on my upper right side of my jaw and into my skull ! I went to the dentist and nothing was wrong . I was prescribed neurontin and it helped but made me too tired so I stopped taking it and used ibuprofen instead... I dealt with this for months and it's better now. I also had the dentist make me a mouth guard to sleep with. I will say extra prayers for you Sis. I assume this is fibromyalgia related and it is sometimes unbearable ... feel better soon and keep me posted on how you're doing .... 😘

I get this. Sometimes I can't chew at all for about a day because one side of my jaw is in so much pain. I believe it's called TMJ pain?

I was diagnosed with TMJ (before being diagnosed with fibromyalgia), I was told after the fact that it is common for fibro patients to have TMJ. I had surgery to correct it. Perhaps you can talk to your dentist and have him/her refer you to a specialist for it if needed?
