The right side of my jaw hurts feel like its bone.No tooth ache,or anything. Its painful to chew.
My friend just had the same thing and she had blocked saliva glands.Look it up to see if it applies to you.Good Luck.
I'm so sorry Nane.... I have had this and was diagnosed with trigeminal neuralgia a few years ago.... my right jaw hurt so badly it felt like someone was drilling a hole on my upper right side of my jaw and into my skull ! I went to the dentist and nothing was wrong . I was prescribed neurontin and it helped but made me too tired so I stopped taking it and used ibuprofen instead... I dealt with this for months and it's better now. I also had the dentist make me a mouth guard to sleep with. I will say extra prayers for you Sis. I assume this is fibromyalgia related and it is sometimes unbearable ... feel better soon and keep me posted on how you're doing .... π
Yes. TMJ from fibro
I get this. Sometimes I can't chew at all for about a day because one side of my jaw is in so much pain. I believe it's called TMJ pain?
I was diagnosed with TMJ (before being diagnosed with fibromyalgia), I was told after the fact that it is common for fibro patients to have TMJ. I had surgery to correct it. Perhaps you can talk to your dentist and have him/her refer you to a specialist for it if needed?
