Any body else find themselves being woken up because you just crashed out. Keep falling asleep like on the sofa. Yesterday was my sons 2nd birthday and had to use a bus and I fell asleep just sat there

Members rallied around someone asking if falling asleep unexpectedly in public places, like on the bus during their son's birthday, was normal, with many confirming that sudden, overwhelming fatigue is a common and frustrating part of living with fibromyalgia. Several members shared their own experiences of falling asleep in classrooms, mid-conversation, or throughout the day despite poor nighttime sleep caused by pain, with some mentioning coexisting conditions like sleep apnea and chronic fatigue syndrome. A recurring theme was the reassurance that this exhausting reality is part of their new normal, met with understanding rather than judgment, and encouragement to discuss symptoms like narcolepsy with a doctor if the fatigue becomes unmanageable.

It's just the fatigue getting to me I think. With 3 kids all under 5 year old, a wife with ocd and working whilst on medication

Ye. I seem to be ok and not have fatigue and then I will start falling asleep every afternoon and not sleeping well at night. Then it goes again. Maybe the cold weather makes us worse. Using extra energy to stay warm or something.
