Members bonded over the shared experience of waking up with deep bone pain in their arms and legs, describing sensations ranging from aching and stabbing to feeling like brittle icicles inside their bones, with many noting that cold weather makes the pain significantly worse. Several members shared practical strategies that have helped them find relief, including moist heat, hot baths or showers followed by immediately covering affected areas, stretching exercises, and CBD oil (though members noted it only provides short-term relief lasting one to two hours). A recurring theme was the frustration of years spent seeking answers from doctors who dismissed their symptoms, the challenge of managing daily pain with various medications, and the importance of rest and self-compassion on difficult days.

The summers in CO are awesome.
The sunshine factor in CO is almost every day. But the barametric pressure swings are huge.
I haven't read enough that CBD really helps long term. I would study more on it. I here it lasts maybe 2 or 3 hours. Maybe others on this site can help with this.
My FM was debilitating in Colorado.
I lived there 30 years. I loved the sun shine and of course the mountains.
I am glad I got to live there.
Northern Wisconsin sounds like a really bad place to live. I can only imagine the winters are very harsh.
Winters in CO are usually mild down in the Denver area.
Do you have friends or other support in CO? It's easy to make friends in CO because everyone else is from somewhere else. :)

@A MyFibroTeam Member Hi, Good morning. I just posted this morning about helping yourself improve the blood circulation all over the body to prevent stiffness when you wake up. It explains why in the poster. Hope it will help you. 😍😍😍

Yeah, i have CBD oil and i have tried it, it sorta' works for a very short span, perhaps 1 to 2 hours and only in so much as it take the jarring pain away, leaving a dull ache...

I think I've been to every doctor possible with all kinds of tests only to be told they couldn't help me!
I take Cymbalta, muscle relaxers, anxiety meds and pain pills. Some of these drugs are narcotics which I hate taking but what are my choices? Curl up inside a box and ROT because this is what some days are like!
I've even been taking 2,000 mg hemp oil using internally and externally. Not cheap either $100 for one ounce.
It's so damn frustrating and living in northern Wisconsin doesn't help any!
I'm ready to move to CO so I can smoke some legal pot!
