Small Swollen Lymph Node Under Jawline, Hard But Painless?.
A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭

I have been experiencing this for over a month. The internist did check and say its too small and doesnt feel suspicious. She felt my whole neck. But its only one small lump on the one side of my jawline?

Im jus wondering if this could be fibro as well?

Yes I’ve had a hard but small lymph node in my neck for a couple of months. I had an ultrasound and it wasn’t suspicious. My lymph nodes always ache in my groin, under my arms and in my neck. I’ve come to believe it’s a fibro thing, but I’d keep monitoring it every now and then (just don’t stress because it’s likely another harmless yet annoying symptom).

No problem! We deal with so many symptoms it’s hard to decipher if it’s fibro or not so it’s alwats best to check with your GP.

Hi I’ve experienced swollen nodes for a few months now. I’ve had a CT and Ultrasound nothing suspicious. It’s a listed symptom or it could be autoimmune related. In my case it may be autoimmune.

No not yet. Im going back to the internist in February. I think she'll do testing then. Mine is very small. Under my chin. But its not painful. Iv been for an ultrasound for my breasts and under my arms. No swollen lymph nodes although it hurts. The internist felt my lymph nodes in my neck as well. Not swollen but painful. So i think shell do further testing when i go back. Ill ask her to.

I am not sure if its related. I actually have an autoimmune disease as well as fibro which is what they are sayin could have been the cause of mine. It was about 5 years ago i had one show up and it got pretty big and so they took it out to biopsy it and it came back fine. Have you been tested for an autoimmune disease at all?
