Which Cold Medicines Are Good To Take?
A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭

My husband shared his cold, which of course brought on a flare-up. I’ve been warned by pharmacists and doctors not to take over the counter cough medicine. Between the fibro pain/ burning skin/ and cold symptoms, I am miserable! Anything help anybody get some relief?

Make sure you get the Sambucal in the yellow box that has vit c and zinc already in it. I use it as a preventative too. Before you get on a plane or events with high exposure to viruses. Even going to your PCP appts where viruses and flu lurk.

And, Ester C brand Vitamin C is one of the best to take. Zinc, is good for getting rid of Cold Virus. And the Black Elderberry formula called: Sambucol, is awesome for immune system when we are sick. Most Pharmacies have it like CVS, Walgreens, Target stores have it, Wal Mart and some Grocery stores.

Definitely helps!! The Turmeric with the Black Pepper added into the formulas tends to work better, than those without. Helps activate the Turmeric's anti inflammatory properties
