Switching topics a little lol! how's it going everyone? ive been seeing a Gastroenterology specialist now to get some things checked in my stomach and colon because of my on and off digestions issues with this weird illness, lot of indigestion, stomach cramps after eating or feeling like I want throw up, but i'm more interested in what yall had for Thanksgiving!

My kids helped cook with the sides. I cooked turkey & ham, and two other sides. Exhausted afterward but kept on pushing.. I was done by Saturday, couldn't do anything. I enjoyed myself.
I visited my family in IN. I had forgotten how much the holiday focused on eating. I gained 6 lbs before Thanksgiving got there!lol Of course I am paying for it with my IBS...I am happy to be back home and getting back to my own routine and habits. I ate every dessert imaginable and lots of noodles and mashed potatoes....yummy
I made Turkey,green bean casserole,mashed red potatoes,sweet potatoes casserole,and stuffing with meat and broth from the neck bone and I also made homemade gravy with the left over broth my daughter made her homemade mac and cheese.Brown n serve rolls and cranberry sauce.Pecan and pumpkin pies.Yes I ate it and I paid for it...but it was worth the itcky feeling.It's great to get complements once a year.Well twice, on Christmas dinner.I am mainly fruits, veggies,yogart normally.I will eat eggs though.Not much for meat.
We host and throw a huge traditional family feast. My mom and I do most of the cooking. This year was rough on me but we made it. I overdid it and threw up mid-morning because I was doing too much so I learned a lesson but I ate everything.
I made it so easy,,,bought a cooked ham,,,and a family frozen macaroni and cheese and made a salad, biscuits..and of course 2 pies and ice cream...it was soooo easy...thank God .LOL..!!
