You may be dealing with slow digestion otherwise known as gastroparesis. In March, I had a terrible time with nausea, lack of appetite, early satiety, and I lost weight. I didn’t want to eat anything. I was concerned too so I had a whole bunch of tests done to find out I have slow digestion. I’ve read that it can be common in fibromyalgia. Our nerves that control our stomach can also be affected. Best thing to do is eat small meals, take great vitamins, probiotic, juice and drink nutritional shakes in between meals. We need all the nutrition we can get.
I started feeling that way once I started Cymbalta, but it has gotten better. My appetite isn’t the best but I eat little meals. I feel like I overate but I had very little. I use to eat 2 sandwiches for lunch now I am lucky to get a half down. But it’s not all that bad. I now can wear my clothes without them being tight. I can’t stand anything tight on me. Eating use to be my favorite subject. I still talk about it but can’t eat as much. So it could be a medication your taking. Have a good night. 🙋
I get this a lot. Lately I have no interest in food or cooking and force myself to eat small meals. I feel full fast. I buy ensure high protein drinks to supplement.
I've had that before it usually lasts a few hours or days. Luckily it doesn't happen often for me to be worried.
I tend to crave too much sweet food that is bad for me, though I know better. I think it is like I am trying to perk myself up with sugar or chocolate so I have a little more energy. I almost wish I did have nausea!!!!! When I was pregnant with my babies, I was able to maintain my weight for a change.
My husband and kids like chips and I finally found a solution of how to stay away from them - I buy a flavour I don't like - the all-dressed!
I do have other digestive woes, so I am not getting off free in that regard.
