I have really bad rib pain on my left side, specifically in the back. The pain will be excruciating when I turn to the left as I will get a sharp pain that goes all the way around to the front. Yesterday, I felt like I was in a vice or someone was squeezing me as I also felt a tightness that went all the way around my ribs from front to back just under my breast. I pretty much have the same symptoms. Its worse for me on the left side too, but sometimes the right side can cause certain problems as well. Even deep breaths sometimes cause like a sharp pain that leaves me totally like paralyzed, cuz the pain is so strong and the more I try to breathe the worse it gets. But I figured it has alot to do with what I do during the day and how I sleep/ lie down / sit. I know not everybody can, but the best remedy is rest and not too many quick movements....those are the worst, one can be enough to ruin your whole week sadly. Hang in there! You are not alone!

Yes. Rib pain terrible. Usually when I've been standing for long periods. Heat helps relieve it and sitting for a bit.

Yes and nothing helps.It usually happens when I am at work shampooing and leaning over at an angle.I cant wear a hard belt on my pants or tight around my waist or it will also make my ribs hurt.
