A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭

Hi
So last christmas I started having very strange stomach issues. Always been sensitive to foods, but this is a whole other level! I can't eat more than a handful at a time, in addition to a long list of no-foods; sugar, fat, grain, most dairy, red meat, anything processed or that converts to sugar too quickly. Baiscally, only "real" food I can eat is veggies. That does not agree with living on campus
Done loads of tests, gastroscopy, ct with contrast, no results... except my stomach is… read more

Yer when I first had problems I was like you I just couldn’t eat all I ate was half a tin of rice pudding, I lost loads of weight, I’m better now I manage a dinner on Sunday but usually I eat fruit waffles or porridge, yogurt , and biscuits I know I shouldn’t eat so many biscuits but that’s all I really fancy , hope you feel a bit better soon , baby steps and you’ll get better slowly but you will start to feel more your self in time , big hugs to you xx

Hi there, All I can think of is go to a new gastroenterologist. And take your test results. You need answers. I wouldn’t stop searching till you get some answers that help you or before you know it you will be in the hospital.
Good luck please get better soon.

Yes GI symptoms can be part of Fibro....I have IBS-C....much improvement with more apples...bananas and spinach...dates...apricots...asparagus...brussel sprouts...I know it doesn't sound delicious....but now I can have a treat without symptoms....also celery...good for gut...after 26 yrs..and a library of books...I found the Medical Medium books...focus on liver support....amazing but it has changed many things in my fibro symptoms...I recommend it...
