Welcome to the site. I can see what you are saying. We can answer but we shouldn’t. You should see a doc. People come down with fibro at all different ages and sometimes there is a family tendency. You don’t want to self diagnose and you do want the doc to have an open mind. Between now and the time you can see someone take tips from here about making yourself as comfortable as you can...epsom salt baths or topical or oral analgesics, heating pads, etc. Track your symptoms. A simple notebook will do but there are apps for phone and tablet too. It can be a long haul...a wait for the right doc, etc. There are good and bad books out there. @A MyFibroTeam Member suggested The Fibro Manual by Ginevra Liptan MD and I am finding that helpful but BIG...a little overwhelming. Just like fibro can be. Be as well as possible and we are here!

Hi
Good luck with getting a diagnosis from your doctor. If you have no luck then ask to see another doctor.
Definitely a good idea to take someone with you.

@A MyFibroTeam Member, it's always best to take an advocate with you in case you forget to ask a question or the Dr tries to steer you into another direction. I believe that's very important! Besides if you don't remember what the Dr told you, your advocate can help you remember it! Always try to take someone with you when you go!
