I have had the same swelling, muscle spasm, lumps, etc. many times. CT n ultrasound have always been normal. Lump in armpit has always gone away, Dr never concerned. So now I just live with it like everything else. Ain't fibro a hoot? 😣

@kerrijo Hi. You listed all of the symptoms I have. I had searched for answers online for quite a while before I narrowed my symptoms down to CFS. [ SEE https://www.sharecare.com/health/chronic-fatigu... ]. I ran it by my DR and she agreed that it sounded like CFS. I asked what we could do to treat CFS and she said there is not a cure for it and many of the symptoms mimic those of FMS (fibro) and it is treated the same way we treat FMS. She also said that many FMS patients also have CFS. This weblink I included lists all the symptoms of CFS. You will see that they mirror those of FMS. I wanted to remark in general, that people with FMS and/or CFS do not experience all of the same symptoms nor do they all experience it to the same degree of severity. One person may feel like they are at death's door and are incapacitated from it while others may feel awful and run down but they can still weather the storm and keep up with life's demands. In the past, I had people telling me swelling (anywhere) was not related to FMS; that I might have lymphoma, HIV, breast cancer or an auto immune disease due to my auxilliary lymph node pain and swelling. I had a mammogram done and requested labs. There are tests for all of those things so the best route is to discuss it w/your physician and have the tests ran to rule them out. There are other culprits for the lymph node pain in the neck, collarbone/chest area, and the arm pits....perfume, deodorant, fungal infection.

Yes, experiencing that lead me into nerve conductivity tests which put in on the road to a diagnosis. Many other things had to occur before I was taken seriously. Was referred for physio and the specialist stated to his understudy to send me for an xray on my neck. It was then so obvious why I suffer nerve related issues and pain in my palm and finger tips. Not being able to feel things and it also diagnosed why I was i was experiencing peripheral pain in my shoulders, Neck, and chest and not forgetting numbness in my arms and hands. C4-C5 was severely worn. Even now on awakening I am screaming due to the pain in my neck. With myself many other things had to occur before I was given a title.

I'm experiencing the exact same symptoms. I guess it is Fibromyalgia. My doctor said it could also be my Chronic Fatige with the fribro but Ive had muscle spasms in my ribs and diaphragm area for years. The DR checked for gall bladder issues but nothing shows up. I can trigger a rib muscle spasmn just by twisting my torso. I routinely get them in the car. Twisting in my seat, stretching to reach for things...that's all it takes. My arma feel like they are about to drop off my body. The painting is getting to me.
