Does anyone use yoga to help with the pain and stiffness of fibromyalgia? And if so what kind?

I love my Pilates and Falden kraise classes - i don't know where I would have been without them. It reduces pain increases mobility and loosens up stiff muscles. Like a self massage to the bosy and it works on body - soul and mind! Amazing - You got to try and love it!

I have done yoga in the past and would love to get back into it. While it doesn’t elleviate pain, it helps loosen you up. I would recommend restorative yoga to start off. Restorative classes typically focus on less vigurous poses and stretching. It leaves you so relaxed!

I am going to Yoga class once a week and also do yoga at home (2-3 times a week). I do some version of Hatha yoga as this is what I did before my diagnosis.

I have just started trying it out. I googled 'Yoga with Adrienne' on youtube and found she is quite good.
