Charlie Horses

Ive been getting like charlie horses in my back. I get them in my legs but lately ive been getting them in my back. When i try to strtch it out it goes to the other side. Anyone else exsperience this.

I get them in my legs, back, and my stomach. They are awful. I sometimes put a heating pad on them and that will help a bit.

I am so sorry you're going through this! I often experience this, as does my Mom. I usually just try and carefully move around until I find a position that doesn't hurt quite so bad and then I sometimes apply pressure to the area where the cramp is. Sometimes pushing out my torso muscles (like sticking out my stomach) helps, other times it causes more pain. It's never fun and again I'm sorry.

I get them really bad in my calf’s and I get restless legs and I have pain in my knees it’s terrible to have

Sorry to hear you are spazzing out. It is painful. I used to just have to take my muscle relaxer at night but as of lately I’ve been getting so many spasms in my back now I take them during the day. I’m going to try to increase my magnesium and see if that helps.

I sleep in a recliner also because of the leg spasms. I've noticed when I sleep in my bed, I wake up in severe all over body pain. In a recliner I can limit the movement of my legs.
